About KEAM Prep
KEAM Prep measures how ready you are for KEAM. Chapter by chapter it reads how much of the syllabus you have covered, how you do on harder questions, how fast you answer against the KEAM clock, and how much you have forgotten since. Those combine into a readiness score weighted to the real paper, and into a plan for what to do next.
Students preparing for KEAM are not short of material. They have a coaching class, a shelf of reference books and more free video lectures than a year could hold. What they are short of is a way to decide what the next hour should be spent on.
KEAM Prep is built around that decision. It scores every MCQ you attempt on accuracy, speed and error type at chapter level, then builds each day's set out of what you got wrong, so weakness has a name and an address instead of a total score that hides it. It is meant to sit alongside a coaching batch rather than replace one.
The free tools here came out of the same work. A college predictor and a fee calculator, both built on published CEE data rather than guesswork, and free with no sign-up.

We are not affiliated with the Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations or with the Government of Kerala; we read what they publish and cite it.

The readiness model behind KEAM Prep is written up rather than kept as a claim. It describes how chapter mastery is built from coverage, difficulty-adjusted performance and predicted retention, how the four ways of working carry different evidential weight, and how those roll up into a score weighted to the KEAM blueprint.

Worth reading its limitations section before you take anything here on trust. The paper is a design proposal, and it says so: the equations encode plausible structure, but it has not yet been shown that K-Score predicts KEAM outcomes. That work needs real student data over a full preparation cycle, which we do not have yet. We would rather publish the method and be checked than claim a result we cannot evidence.
Everything factual here about ranks, colleges and fees comes from documents the Kerala government publishes. Closing ranks come from the CEE last rank tables. Fees come from the Government Orders that set them. Category names and reservation percentages come from the KEAM prospectus.
Where a figure is widely repeated but we could not trace it to a primary source, it is labelled unverified in the tool that shows it rather than presented alongside the sourced ones. Where a method involves a judgement call, the choice and the reason are written out rather than left implicit.
Ranks and fees change every year, and often between allotment phases within a year. Each page says which document and which phase it is built on, and when that document was published. Confirm anything that affects a decision against the CEE site before you act on it.
